Opened in April 2013, S.Y. Kitchen offers fresh, modern Italian dishes in any of the three rooms of their Italian-inspired California farmhouse. Meals are served in the Front Room where guests are warmly welcomed, on the Porch with cushioned banquet seating and a bit of fresh air, or in the cozy Dining Room which also hosts family seating and private parties. The recently opened Courtyard was designed to create an outdoor lounge area for pre-dinner cocktails or to enjoy the restaurant’s complete menu. A find in tiny Santa Ynez

Wonder lunch menu and outdoor seating. Attentive waitstaff. I had Salad Nicoise.It was very fresh and quite a large plate of vegetables, heirloom tomatoes, almost hard boiled egg and large portion of tuna on a generous bed of salad.
