This might not be a fair review. Since it is lent, they were out of several dishes that we tried to order. Since we stayed and ordered what they had, it was just ok.

I had a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon - not massively cheap at $14 I think, but loads of very nice salmon. Also had a cup of fruit, small but very nice. Nice feel to the place, and only one minute from the beach.

Every now and then one is lucky enough to stumble upon a place that is so amazing that you are tentative about writing about. Selfish. However, Cora's is amazing the food is out of this world! Don't tell anyone.

This place is venerable for its breakfast offerings, but prepare for $45-$50+ for two persons. Coming from the Southwest, $14 pancakes gave us pause. However, the delicious breakfast sandwich I ordered was so large that it could easily have been split between us. Everything appeared to be very high qualify with large portions. The place is small, but there is... More

If you are in Santa Monica, don't miss Cora's. The food is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We had a Saturday brunch and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the salmon Benedict which was quite good.

Awesome place to have breakfast. They have a nice area to sit outside which is pretty neat. The service was great and so was the food. The guacamole is one of the best i've ever had. The omelets are a must try !!! A little pricey but totally worth it !

Had a chance to enjoy breakfast and coffee on an early Saturday morning. Quaint little coffee shop with a covered patio / garden area with seating as well. I had the Huevos Rancheros, eggs over easy.....and it was a very nice meal. Their dish has a little bite to it, which was nice and the beans were soft and flavorful... More

I look forward to eating at cora's when visiting santa Monica. eggs Benedict with smoked salmon is special. Lattes are alway fresh and smooth. In winter it can be a bit cool even with the outdoor heaters, so take a jacket.I will be back.

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
