First night in Santa Monica-recommended this restaurant by hotel staff. Excellent service, delicious food, reasonable prices-what more could we ask for?

Only a 10 minute ride from the beach is Lares. An authentic Mexican restaurant, serving very traditional Mexican cuisine in a relax environment. Live music in the evenings which adds to the ambiance. highly recommend for all.
This is becoming an annual event when we visit Santa Monica. Great Mexican food as it was meant to be. Who could ask for anything more.

Amazing authentic mexican food, and superb margaritas. The place is decorated like a traditional restaurant in mexico and two gentlemen played guitar and sang in Spanish while we ate. Excellent staff providing wonderful, friendly service - great experience all round!
