Better than Starbucks! Great service and several locations around Santa Monica. High level of caffeine.

love the lattes & tea varieties. You may wait on a busy day, more choices than the bigger coffee chains on every corner.

Being from the East Coast, I am use to and worship Dunkin Donuts. My girlfriend recommend we try The Coffee Bean and I was not disappointed!

I don't usually have a bad coffee experience - but this was BAD. The servers were rude to the woman in front of me (who was asking clear questions), and the coffee was really disappointing. Dirty milk/sugar area. I won't be back.

I had 30 minutes to kill before a 9:30 business meeting and found this plan for breakfast. I had a large coffee and a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, a season special. The muffin was delicious, not too big and not too small. The coffee was very fresh and delicious too.

Really enjoyed my double cappuccino - once I got it. A long wait to be served. An even longer wait for it to be made. I guess it's a good sign that it's so popular!

This place was within walking distance of our hotel so a couple mornings when we didn't want a big breakfast we walked here. Servers always super friendly and pleasant. Coffee and bagels great, reasonably priced!

One measure of management in any company is employee retention. This location always seems to have the same great people, and that speaks volumes. Their service is quick, professional, and always cheerful. This is my favorite place to pick up a coffee during the work week.

We are so glad we happened upon this Coffee Shop that we do not have back home in Tampa, Florida. Our daughter LOVES Chai Tea, and this spot has one of the best ever! GREAT FIND! She had hers iced, but I bet the latte warm is excellent as well during colder days. The best part of the visit had... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
