Very basic Mexican food, consistently good, for a reasonable price. They do a good take out business, and they have a handful of tables for folks who want to sit down and eat there. Don't ask the (male) owner for substitutions... it's not gonna happen.

The food was fresh, delicious and tasted like homemade. The restaurant was immaculate. The sauces were flavorful.

You will not be disappointed. The shrimp and fish are prepared perfectly. The salsas are amazing. This is a very casual/roadside restaurant. Don't come for the ambiance, but do come for the food! Just know that if you are paying by check/credit card, you will not be able to add gratuity...so make sure you bring at least some cash with... More

One of the best burrito's in Santa Cruz. Parking is a problem but it is worth the hassle. Perfect if you get it to go and then go down to cove beach, or watch the surfers at Pleasure point

Authentic, inexpensive and delicious. Both my husband and I ordered the fish tacos with rice and beans. The serving was a generous size for $7 and perfect for lunch! I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is a family run place that locals frequent. It's not fancy by any means but reminds me of the small mom & pop shops I grew up with. I had the chile relleno dinner and it was good and filling and there was enough for breakfast the following morning. They don't have a liquor license so we missed out... More

Not the carnie asada burrito I was looking for. It wasn't bad but far from great. Tortilla was really good. Price was decent.

Appears to be a family run place. We had tacos, flautas & rice.... plenty of food & very good & the restaurant appeared to be very clean.

This is my favorite place to get fish taco's (soft tortilla) in Santa Cruz. They are so fresh! I also like their enchilada plate w/ refried beans and a side of their fresh salsa. When in town I eat at Cafe Michoacan 2-3 times. I like eating outside at their tables.

This little place was next to our motel. Not fancy, but good food. They were able to accommodate my granddaughter's gluten-free needs - made her a corn tortilla shrimp quesadilla - she loved it! It wasn't on the menu - but it should be :-)
