Great breakfast. Consistently voted best in Santa Cruz. Best to visit on a week day due to crowds. Also offers full alcohol bar.

The food is yummy but the wait is super crazy long. Plus the hostess screwed up on our four-legged head count. We told her 4 people with two dogs. When she told us our table was ready (about 1 hour later), she didn't know we had dogs. So we waited for another 35 to 45 minutes. Ugh! So be sure... More

All of us really enjoyed our breakfasts at the Harbor Café, but particularly the California Croissant. The "small" mimosa was served in a good-sized glass, and was delicious. Sitting outside, even in December, was fun. The service was quick and friendly. Only the frittata was a bit rich for my daughter's liking, being a bit too heavy on the cheese.... More

This place was always bustling but with good reason. You can get lost in the shuffle a bit but we never had to go looking for service. If one waitress/hostess got tied up, another would ask if we needed anything. We sat outside in the sun where we could people watch. There is seating out front by the busy sidewalk.... More

I came after rush hour so was seated pretty quickly. Having read reviews, I didn't want to come at peak rush and wait. I ordered coffee. Over the course of waiting for my meal, eating my meal, ordering an extra pancake at the end, no one refilled my coffee. I asked and someone forgot, I waited, and finally got a... More

Excellent breakfast and lunch. Only open until 2pm. Great inside and outdoor seating. OK to have your dogs outside. There is always a wait, but the turnover is quick and it's DEFINITELY worth the wait! This is our "go to" spot when friends come to visit.

Nice local vibe here. I ordered the Captain's Fritatta, good and very filling for a reasonable price.

Harbor cafe is a fun restaurant for the whole family, even your pooch is welcome! We have been frequenting the cafe for years. Our kids love it and it is always a favorite of our friends when they come to town. Good music, friendly staff and yummy food. My husband and I like the captain's frittata! Our kids love the... Loved everything about this place. Everything felt extremely relaxed and friendly. We had the frittata supreme (which I strongly recommend) and the 3-egg omelette with sausage. Portions were huge and the food was delicious! Honestly the best breakfast we had during our 2 week trip in California.
