My wife and I had a nice bike ride down to Carpinteria and we returned to the Best Western with just enough time to shower and pack before checkout and then, hungry from the ride, walked next door to the Live Oak Café. Too late...More

Part of the Best Western complex where you go for food/breakfast. I had the eggs and bacon and toast and fruit. I asked for all berries and that is what they brought. Friend had oatmeal and the portion was huge. She loved it. Fast service.

We had lunch and breakfast at the Live Oak during our stay at the Best Western Hotel. The food and service were great, and the location very convenient.

Truly a gem of a restaurant in unpretentious setting. Went there for breakfast. Friendly and quick service. They cure their own bacon which is super delicious! Waffles were so tasty. We will definitely go back any chance we can!

Seemed like we were the first ones there but the service was quick and delicious. I had an omelet. Bacon was a little over cooked but i found it tasted better like that. Also there’s parking.

No, no affiliation with the Live Oak Music Festival but we do like the festival a lot. We chose the name for multiple reasons: our proximity to Oak Park, the Encina Lodge (which we are located in) means Oak in Spanish and it... More
