This is probably the best restaurant in Santa Barbara. The wait staff is charming and very knowledgable about wines. The food is unique but not too 'twee'. There is outside seating as well as inside.

Enjoyed ourselves - very good food, lively room and a great waitstaff. Warning - no bar, only wine - that's all fine, but as a result nothing interesting to drink for my teenage daughters - no juice, lemonade or ice tea, only sodas.

Dinner was the best we've had in Santa Barbara. Everything was well made and creative. I would return as often as I can if I could.

Made a reservation at this popular restaurant for my anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint! The ambience was great. It was cozy but not tight. The service was great. We end selecting Tom Sherpherd Farms Organic Mixed Greens, Trios of Seared Sea Scallops, Pan-Seared...More

Highly recommend this place if you are in Santa Barbara and want a nice meal. Excellent food (though docked a star for unimaginative crab cakes). Service was friendly, food was reasonably priced and ambiance was a relaxed mix of locals and tourists.

After a friendly introduction about the philosophy we started to study the menu. Many appetizing dishes. We had a heirloom salad (very tasty) and a foi gras (just it should be, warm and soft on a very crunchy toast) and the duck was also prepared...More

Farm-to-table gem in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. The Original California bouchon, menu features local produce and wines. Charming rustic ambience with hardwood floors, open kitchen and inviting patio. Service is warm, friendly and informed.
