Our family very much enjoyed the restaurant. The quality of the food was very high. The menu is a bit limited, but everything we ordered was excellent. The room itself is nothing to look at - although an open kitchen is always welcome. Service was...More

Tried their food the service is excellent but food is a hit or a miss. Their website is outdated and lists different pricing than at the restaurant. Make matters worst is that their menu online is totally different than their menu in house. In this...More

Truly enjoyed having lunch here with out 5 and 8 year old kids. We got a table not to a large aquarium with "Dory" fish which kept the kids totally mesmerized. Food was truly delicious with a broad range of innovative seafood. The Dover sole...More

This location is within walking distance of many hotels. It is quite busy but has many tables some of which are large, so the wait for 6 persons was only 10 minutes . Not a romantic spot; it is quite noisy. But the meal was...More

Every time we visit Santa Barbara we have dinner at Enterprise Fish Co. It's jam packed, loud and delicious! Only sad note, it's not next to the water. However State Street has plenty of fun and excitement.

The food is good but not great, service is good but not great and the atmosphere is more a chain restaurant than a local. We enjoyed dinner there but don't think we will choose it again.

I have no idea, but the food is middling to bland, very boring, the service is not good. I will never go back there anyway! (and if what you say is true, that is despicable!)

They open at 11:30am - you can make reservations on Open Table if you wish. You can bring up more info on their web site, i.e., menu, etc.

Description
Just a few blocks from the waterfront, our restaurant in Santa Barbara operates in a century-old brick building originally home to an industrial linen service for seaside hotels. While the Douglas fir floors, soaring ceilings, and glassed cupola have always been features of this historic structure, the sweeping arches facing State Street were added after much of the building crumbled during the 1925 Santa Barbara earthquake. Built in 1917, the historic building now home to our Santa Monica restaurant was once a transfer station for the narrow-gauge Red Car line, Los Angeles' first mass transit system. It was later the repair house for the world-famous Pacific Ocean Park, home to the oldest wooden roller coaster west of the Mississippi. These days, we're still a stone's throw from Venice Beach, heart of where L.A. goes to play -- and eat.
