This lively restaurant seems to be a hit with both tourists and locals (us.) If there's a wait for a table, the raised communal tables in the bar often provide a nice conversation with a vacationer or friends enjoying short break. This is not your typical "captive audience" hotel restaurant. All the dishes on the somewhat short menu include a... More

Had a great meal here. Food was first class & service top notch. The restaurant has quality stamped all over it. If in Santa Barbara or close at hand, the Finch & Fork is a must.

We ate here simply because we were staying at The Canary. We're really glad we did. The food was so good that we'll eat here again even if we stay elsewhere.

We were in Santa Barbara on the USA Mother's Day and dined at the Finch and Fork. Being true Brits we saw on the menu a roast beef dinner including Yorkshire pudding so we went for it and we were not disappointed the slice of beef covered the plate and was an inch thick and it went down beautifully with... We felt like this place had a creative (but limited) menu, with items looking better than they tasted. In particular, their take on eggs Benedict looks fantastic, but we found it was only average in taste. It's just off State Street and was a little more fancy that we expected. It's a solid choice but we felt like it didn't... More

The room is very pretty and the crowd was young and attractive. My daughter and I dined here and enjoyed it, the food was good, and the service was fine if a little on the rushed side. It is on the expensive side for the quality of the food but better than average for hotel dining in SB. Wine list... More

This is a very attractive restaurant attached to the Kimpton Canary hotel. The waitstaff is attentive and knowledgeable. The Sunday evening English style Prime Rib was one of the best I've had in years. They know how to do it right here. They also make a lovely butternut squash soup that's worth considering. Their Kale feta salad is delicious. Well... More
