The almond croissant and quiche Lorraine were out of this world. Strongly recommend stopping here forc lunch or brunch!

We had espressos and fresh bakery cookies after an hour in Chaucer's bookstore. Sat outside in warm sun but plenty of space indoors as well as heartier food that I saw on others' plate.

We are regulars here, the pastries are even better than every place we visited in Paris- Thank you Renaud and Nicole for getting this absolutely right for SB. We send our foodie visiting friends here, always have rave reviews. Hint: for a gift - hostess or Bday -have them box up some with a ribbon!

You order at counter and seating inside and out. Locals brought us twice during our visit. I enjoyed the limitless self-serve coffee and sampled various croissants - almond was my favorite. Others in party enjoyed egg sandwichs and quiche. All was good and it was wonderful to sit outside. Our service was fine.

While staying in Santa Barbara for a week, we were so pleased we stumbled upon Renaud's for lunch. Good food and dog friendly patios are not usually synonymous except we found both. My husband pointed out that he was the only man seated for lunch in a sea of women, lunching in small friendly groups. I had a raceltte cheese... More

Always come to Renaud when in Santa Barbara for an afternoon snack or breakfast. The food is really good and they have an amazing organic coffee selection. I almost feel like at home when eating pain au Chocolat and their croissants.

Renaud's is known for its pastries, which are indeed awesome. Order anything complex, however, and the service is slow and missed vital things (like my coffee order). Next time I will take "to go".

Have you been to France and had a croissant in one of those patisseries. Well, you can get those in Santa Barbara. The croissants at Renaud's are authentic Parisian delights. The chocolate croissants are a must try - flaky, good chocolate filing and perfect texture. If you are not a croissant person, try their fabulous assortment of breakfast specialties. The... More

Close your eyes and your in France. Renaud's has brought a new level to Santa Barbara. Everything he makes is just pure heaven. The pastries are just right not to too sweet, perfection.

This popular place is known for great pastry and also a tasteful brunch and lunch place near Chaucer's book store. I love their quiche as well as most of their brunch items. It can get busy on weekends. Very casual and it is really counter service and you are on your own, which is not a problem when you know... More
