Super tasty seasonal menu. Great value with the tasting menu and very interesting, well priced wines. The coconut gelato was fantastic.

Agree with the philosophy of this chef driven menu. If you want duck on the menu in any fashion then you get the whole duck and figure it out. That's what happens on a real farms. The honesty comes through. Great wines by the glass and tre leche cake gets 4 stars from a chocoholic.

When you read a menu and it excites your palate, you know that you're probably in for a treat. And our experience would agree with this anticipated outcome. Our food was delicious and unusual. Not strange or weird, but fresh and vibrant, and reflecting the care the chef utilized to find ingredients and incorporate them into an incredible meal. I'd... More

We first renewed our relationship with Juliene in June 2015. Since then, it is our first choice for original California dining and we return monthly or more frequently, whether just to have a great dinner or for a special occasion. The food is imaginative, well and attractively prepared, with excellent beverage pairings. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and the value... More

We were visiting California and ate here with friends. All the courses were great and the mixing of the flavors in the different foods was so interesting and so good. We did the fixed price menu where the server/sommelier chooses wine for your three courses. Jessica did a great job and we had one of the best meals I've ever... More

I had dinner at Julienne's following viewing a film at the SB Film Festival--a week night and quiet but the restaurant is small, the tables close and I would imagine the noise level could be an issue. Someone had recommended the Parsnips prepared three ways--not always a good thing to go with the advice of a previous diner!! The dish was... More

This was the best restaurant I found in Santa Barbara, our waiter was super knowledgable recommending some beautiful top quality dishes and accompanying drinks. A top quality experience all round.

Good attempt at California style French cuisine, creative but a bit over ambitious. Nice wine recommendations, good service but the owner / chef was off that night and his fill-in over salted a few dishes (mine and the table next to us). We finished ours but they took a bite of their respective orders and pushed them away. My mussels... More

We get to Santa Barbara once a year, and always make a point of having Julienne on our dining list. There's always, of course, that worry in the back of your head -- will it be as good as it was (or as I remember it through the haze of time)? No worries -- Julienne this time was both predictably...
