Ordered the sandwich, soup and salad. Spouse ordered the Fiesta Salad. The food was great, They were very busy so we waited a little longer than planned. Previously when there we had trouble with clean utinsels but no problem this time. Maybe they changed management.

Generally when in Santa Ana, I'll stop in to Norm's at this location because its convenient to the downtown amenities, the courthouse, the museums, and the airport. Basically the best meals in town are here. I am not calling this a full-fledged "restaurant" because its a diner and coffee shop built on family traditions that began in the mid-20th Century... If you love old fashioned coffee shops / diners you'll love Norm's. Best way to describe it is, it's like you really, truly dropped back in time to the 60's / 70's. Not like some retro looking places that are putting on a show, this place is the real deal. The food is diner food with just a bit of... More

This place always seems to be buzzing and there is a good old fashioned American diner atmosphere here. It's a chain but it retains its retro look and feel. I had a basic eggs bacon and pancake special at the counter and it was great for the money. Very friendly staff. I'll drop in again without question.

The service was ok, but the most disappointing part was the food was cold. It was really busy so they must be found something right, but I would nit suggest going with a large party(more than 6 people).

A popular place for a quick break and lunch. Service is good, the food comes out fast and there are always specials.

We love Norm's. It's a fixture in Southern California. The menu is huge. The prices are great. The service is always pleasant and efficient. We stopped at the Santa Ana Norm's around 10 p.m. on a Saturday night and the place was packed. We had maybe a 15-minute wait. That tells you how popular Norm's is. Surprisingly, there were mostly... We had breakfast at Norm's this morning. The food was very good. Nancy, our server, was excellent. Portions were great for the prices. But, ask the price for add-ons. The menu was very large. There was a good reason for the large crowd.

This place is good. Lot of people there, so I figured it was because it was cheap or the food was good. It was both. There is a good variety of food on the menu.

I didn't want a full breakfast, so decided to order just hash brown potatoes and a "sunny side up" egg on top. The coffee was good, and the egg was cooked properly, but the potatoes were cold. It just ruined what might otherwise have been a light but yummy breakfast!
