Small little place where you order at the counter - we had fish n chips which was a large portion of 4 pieces and also a fish sandwich that was a generous piece on a nice bun. Food was reasonable and cute little outside seating. No ocean view but would recommend just for the food.

Located in old San Simeon, this small establishment serves a variety of odds and ends. I tried the fish tacos. They were decent. Food is a bit pricey for what you get. Atmosphere is ok. Counter service. Not especially memorable, but not bad.

Good fish and chips, fish tacos, delicious all beef chili with cheese. Didn't try the burgers but they also looked great. A few indoor tables, nice outdoor tables in a historic setting so close to Hearst Castle. Also fun and inexpensive to do the nice Hearst wine tasting inside Sebastians. And the post office is there too if you want... More

We loved our lunch at Sebastian's. We could have split a burger, they are BIG and delicious. Sat outside and enjoyed the view. We went across the way to a lovely beach after lunch. It was a relaxing treat after touring Hearst Castle.

We had no idea that the restaurant had changed ownership, so we were eagerly anticipating our sandwiches being the former tasty fare. What a disappointment! Not only were they just "bad," but the staff messed up the order - a very simple order. Pastrami sandwich, "special" was ordered plain, meat and mustard only. Is that so hard? The sandwich arrived... This is the best burger I remember eating in recent history. This is a lunch spot so get there before the 4 pm closing. I loved the taste of the ice tea. Sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.

Food is cooked to order, and is sized on the big side. Fish and chips were good. Burgers were nice. Ambiance is historically interesting, and they have a wine tasting area, and a gift shop with some nice choices if you want to do a picnic later. You have a view of the castle from the parking lot.

We ate lunch here after visiting Hearst Castle. Food is surprisingly good given the slightly unpromising exterior - certainly much better than the Hearst Castle Visitor Centre. It is not gourmet but fish and chips and the chilli burger were both good and portions well-sized.

Split the bacon cheeseburger with avocado, great little place worth the trip up the coast, great food and choices, great place to relax off the highway. The wine tasting was fun, the choices were good smooth selection.

Try some of the local wines whilst sampling some local reared beef. Lots of choice on the menu. Can get busy but worth a visit.
