One of us had the Curry shrimp ramen and 2 of had the Lobster garlic pork ramen. There is no lobster in the ramen; not sure why it has that name unless they use lobster shells for the broth. The broth was very rich and flavorful. Probably the best we have had so far. We waited about an hour to... More

My GF brought me here due to its popularity. Few months ago, she and I ate at Dojo Ramen which was few blocks away. I wanted to make a comparison so we also came here. I had the classic Parlor Ramen with lobster garlic sauce. The sauce was quite rich. The serving was quite small. Nothing special about this place... More

I don't eat pork and didn't have the heart to tell my dining companion who raved about this place and brought me here. Pork ("Pieces", ground, even porky broth) is in all the ramen bowls, so if you keep kosher or Halal, stay away. My companion loved his ramen bowl, so big he took some of it home. I did... More

They offer their unique lobster based ramen in the first page of their menu. And of course you don't want to miss that taste. Moreover, you could customize your ramen by adding your own favorite veges and meat. Their desserts are well prepared too. Be there early enough so that you dont need to wait in a long line and... Get there early if you don't want to wait long. There's always a line. We were there at 11:20 and seated promptly at 11:30, eating ten minutes later. All the ramen is good .... Though Maru Ichi in mountain View is still better. Ask for an extra egg. Cooked to perfection.

There were a few ramen places in Mateo but I decided to go with this one and I am not disappointed! Long queue but it's worth it! Good portion of ramen and tried chicken karage too delicious. Will be back for next time around!

Arrived after dinner rush, no wait. Our first visit, but family we were with visit often and helped with food choices. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The food was delicious.

Some of the best Ramen in the bay area. You will have 30 to 40 minute wait, but well worth it if you want a rich creamy bowl of noodles. Occasionally the broth, depending on what Ramen you order, can be a little bit rich, but then again you are at a Roman house, and decadence is part parcel. Parking... More

I've tried their sister restaurant, Ramen Dojo, but heard I had to come here for the lobster flavored broth. I ordered it with the soy sauce variety. I liked the accompaniments, especially the hard-boiled quail eggs, but didn't detect much lobster flavor in my broth. I tried my friend's classic with garlic and enjoyed it much more. The noodles were... More

We recently had dinner here. The line was quite daunting when we arrived at close to 6:30pm on a Sunday. However, the actual wait was not that terrible which was helped by the fast turn around. They started taking your orders while you were still waiting in line, which I think helped tremendously. The interior was quite modest but neat.... More
