A few years ago, my husband and I ate dinner at this restaurant. We remember being very very underwhelmed by the food--the fish was not seasoned and the sides, especially a rice pilaf was especially bland. I decided to come back recently with a friend...More

Felt like some real fresh fish in a place that was a real seafood restaurant with good reccomendations by lots of people. Found it. On the water 1950s setting, great fresh swordfish after delicious Oysters Rockefeller appetizer and a very tasty caesar salad. Service a...More

This was a holiday early dinner, our table was overlooking the canal and made a very nice location. I had the prosciutto wrapped scallops with scallopped potatoes and Cole slaw. The taste of prosciutto and scallops together is absolutely delicious. The potatoes were the best,...More

The Fish Market has wonderful ambience, and a waterside location along a lagoon. It’s an old, established venue known for fresh fish of all sorts. Our lunch with family was of uneven quality, however. Table mates enjoyed New England Clam Chowder, Oysters Rockefeller, and steamed...More

This was my second visit to The Fish Market. It’s my new go to place in NorCal for the ultimate Mahimahi Fish tacos. The mahi is lightly, panko breaded, fried to perfection. Both times, my fish was expertly cooked...not dried out at all! The fish...More

Big restaurant with good food. It's all tasty, good, and basic. If you want good comfort sea food, this is the place to come. It's not a place for an intimate romantic dinner.

I've been here many times over the years. Excellent fresh seafood nicely prepared. Tonight I started with an excellent caesar salad and for the entree the swordfish with fingerling potatoes and veggies. I requested garlic lemon butter (as I always do) and it was served...More

Fish entrees all fresh. Lots of free parking. Prices have gone up twice in past two years. Service a little slow this time as they were busy.

Nestled alongside a quiet lagoon, our fourth restaurant, and the first to feature the upstairs, upscale Top of the Market, has been a dining destination for bay area residents since 1982. This beautiful restaurant also features a full-service cocktail bar and lounge area, and a popular oyster bar. Patio dining is available in the summer months.
