We found this place while walking thru the town. It was not a popular (busy) as some of the surrounding but we really liked the vibe. The food was good and food / drink reasonably priced. Don't let the bar stop you from going in.
F. McLintock's has been in the area forever! Everything is big. Big steaks, big dishes, big pours. If you like grilled meats, you'll like here.

The restaurant at Pismo Beach is my personal favorite, however, on Thursday night in downtown San Luis Obispo, McLintock's is the most popular booth at the market. Same great food at an unbelievable price. Plus very generous portions.
