Abalone
Cayucos farmed abalone lightly breaded and sauteed, served with a lemon chardonnay sauce.

Barbecued​ over our oak pit, sliced and served sizzling hot.
Garlic Cheese Bread
San Luis sourdough bread smothered with roasted garlic, green onions and a variety of fresh cheeses.

Chef’s selection of five various cheeses served with winter white honey, candied pecans, greek olives and grape clusters.
Buffalo Wings
Hot, spicy wings served with our pick and shovel brand barbecue sauce and homestyle ranch dressing. Garnished with celery sticks.
Relish Tray
An assortment of monterey jack cheese, Italian salami, olives, green onions. A variety of peppers, celery and carrots.
Cheese & Fig Crostini
Goat cheese crostini with fig compote and pistachio crumbles.
Sweet Potato Fries
Served with a chipotle aioli sauce.
Chicken Caesar Salad
Sliced grilled chicken breast served over crisp, tossed romaine with parmesan cheese, croutons and our traditional caesar dressing.
Spinach Salad
Fresh spinach greens served with sliced eggs, chopped bacon, cheddar cheese and water chestnuts topped with our Aunt Laverne’s secret homemade dressing.

Barbecued over oak wood to bring out their distinctive tender and sweet taste, served with apple-mint jelly.
Filet Mignon and Australian Lobster
11oz. filet and 16oz. Lobster. 11oz. of our trademark filet mignon and one full pound of Australian rock lobster served with fresh lemon and drawn butter.
Chicken-Barbecued or Fried
How do you like your chicken. We’ll fry it southern style or barbecue it over oak wood and serve with our pick and shovel barbecue sauce.
Fresh Steamed Vegetable Plate
Steamed garden vegetables, topped with melted mozzarella cheese. Served with our homemade rice pilaf or piping hot baked potato.
Beef Ribs
Subject to availability and served with our homemade pick and shovel barbecue sauce.
Grilled Portabella "Steak"
Layered with heirloom tomatoes, goat cheese, seasonal vegetables, and a balsamic reduction drizzle. This lighter fare has a distinct western flavor from the natural red oak barbecue.

Elaborate woodcarvings, red leather seats, and hand-painted walls create a memorable, unique experience. We had the best wait person ever and her name was Lita. She was pleasant, attentive and fast. We ordered the chicken salad with cashews and it was YUMMY! Can't wait to come back and have Lita wait on us again.

After a wonderful stay in the hotel, we had breakfast at the Copper Cafe. The food comes in very large portions. It is delicious. They are very good with allergies as well.
