I love Red Beans & Rice and finding a place that has them on the menu was a find for lunch. While the dish itself was excellent it had cooled down by the time I got it. Had the dish been served hotter I would...More

We tried this lovely spot for breakfast this weekend. The word that comes to mind is "amateurish". Whereas the servers were extremely friendly, they were pretty inept. Long waits to get menus, get water refills. Several requests for cream for the coffee. Broken dishes and...More

My wife and I dined at Bon Temps Creole Cafe recently. The food was some of the worst restaurant food that we have ever experienced. The place seemed to understaffed (there may be an over-supply of eating places in SLO, and it is possible that...More

A great cajun breakfast with friends. About as authentic as you can find outside of Louisiana. Grits, hollandaise sauce, and andouille sausage - a winning combination.

I've been to their old location numerous times but this was my first visit to their new digs. The food is every bit as good as my review title implies. Considering the large portions, pricing is fair. Service was fine, but not outstanding.

Bon Temps has moved to Osos St. in the Historic Railroad District where they have both indoor and patio seating. It was my first visit, although my husband had been there before and raved about it. The place is nicely decorated and even had appropriate...More

Was disappointed last time I was there, and probably won't go there again. The food, which used to be excellent, arrived luke warm, the prices were much higher, and overall, you can do better in SLO Town.
