This place doesn’t take reservations, so keep that in mind and it is very popular because the food is good. I started with Americano salad which is a meal in itself, but split it with a friend. We also split the lasagna. Good bar and...More

You can't beat the atmosphere! Great decor throughout the restaurant. Offering many seating choices, indoor, outdoor, garden patio and a counter. You can also order to go from the deli counter. Pasta is fresh and the sauces are original. The pizzas and also good.

We were recommended this place by our Concierge at the Shore Cliff Hotel as the best local Italian - the bonus was it was walkable down Price Street from our hotel. The restaurant is kinda split into 2, sandwiching a very busy bar in the...More

We came by during the Thursday night farmers market as most places were pretty packed. We were pleasantly surprised. We had the calamari and the pumpkin zucca ravioli. Both dishes were excellent, though the ravioli could have used a little more seasoning. It's a noisy...More

We've been here a couple of times now and had great experiences each time. The restaurant has relocated down the street, to a neat old historic building, since our last visit. We really like their new place very much. We had spaghetti and lasagna, plus...More

Went here for lunch and was very favorably impressed. Service was attentive and the menu was extensive. There is also a nice area in the back patio for seating.

Great food, convivial atmosphere, and good service. This place ticks all the boxes. Perhaps a bit pricey but worth it.

Description
Welcome to Palazzo Giuseppe’s, downtown San Luis Obispo! Our Italian regional specialties are indicative to the Pugliese region in Italy, particularly Bari, a seaport on the Adriatic Sea from which most of our recipes originate. We hope you will enjoy and appreciate our great loyalty to the distinctive dishes, all of which we prepare with genuine and natural ingredients and methods. Our bread is baked from scratch every day in a wood-burning oven imported from Italy. Each loaf is made by hand, allowed to rise four times and slow-cooked to achieve the truly rustic appearance and taste you would find in a Baresi seaside village. DiFronzo is dedicated to producing & growing as many heirloom, organic vegetables, & fruits from his family farm as possible. Gelato, pizzas, & specialties including his estate grown Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, & Syrah. All of this takes time but to us it is an art and a labor of love. We are truly committed to bringing you "cucina genuina."
