I've moved away from the area 15 years ago. just came back for a trip. after all these year's, the food is still awesome. and the staff has been awesome and so courteous. they really make you feel welcome and create a nice atmosphere for lunch and dinner.

We went to this restaurant to try the new foods. We cannot say anything wrong about the restaurant itself: it was friendly and spacy, and the staff was courteous. The food was well cooked. We just didn't like the flavors. Oops.

San Jose isn't known for having a huge Japanese population. But for some reason every time I come here there's always Japanese people eating here. I guess that tells you how good the food is. Place is always clean, and the staff is always nice. The yakimeshi "fried rice" is excellent, and the champon "noodle soup" will warm you up... More

First time I have eaten Champon and really enjoyed it! It is a big bowl of noodle soup with veggies, meat and seafood. Great comfort food. The second time, I had yakasoba noodles which I also enjoyed. It is a good sign to see a lot of Japanese eating at the restaurant. Wish there were similar restaurants at home. Prices... More

There were very few people in the restaurant at 1 pm on a Tuesday. The waitress threw the menus at us upside down. Chashu Ramen came with thick, dry, cold pork slices on top. They tasted as if they had come straight out of the refrigerator. The Saraudon was an unusually distasteful eating experience, a number of ingredients carelessly thrown... More

,One of our favorite go-to places. Order the thin, crispy noodles called Saraudon, light & delicate gyoza, tasty chicken karaage, and of course, the ramen they call Champon. Heavenly green tea ice cream is the perfect ending. It's a must try if you've never had this type of food. A family favorite.

I usually order their nagasaki saraudon here. It is all natural noodles made of a blend of flours. It is thin, crispy noodles (the crunch is just right). They have a perfect sauce to go with it and top it with fresh vegetables and chicken. It is quite filling, but also healthy and low in calories. Its a fun place... More

This restaurant has a many variety of Champon(Noodle with a sea food based soup) and Japanese foods. I used a lot because they open lunch thru dinner. I recommend champon, miso champon and sara udon(Like Hong Kong style chow mein). You can take out or buy noodles there. Just off Saratoga Avenue, between Payne and Williams.

I have enjoyed Ringer Hut's unique menu for many years. The quality has always been very good. Equally consistent has been the lousy service. There are some servers who are observant of diners' needs. But most servers pay no attention to the diner except to take an order and collect the bill. Too bad. They have an excellent product that...
