We have been going to Siamese Kitchen for years - sometimes just the 2 of us but take friends to enjoy too. Experiment and try some new tastes - the curry's are very good. Staff is very friendly.

We ordered the red and yellow beef and pork curry and the food was very good, not too spicy, perfect for my European mouth ! The service was pretty good ! Let's say the atmosphere was not that great, the restaurant isn't beautifully decorated but as long as the food is good, I would recommend it !

I love the restaurant because of the service. The staffs are very humble and welcoming. The way they served juice and cold drinks are appreciable. Taste of food is very good. We tried Thai fried rice , sweet basil chicken medium spicy, and vegetable and baby corn . Its pretty good. I will go next time too.

Apart from being unable to order "water" in English (as opposed to American) we had a nice meal here. Good soup!

I've had better Thai food. I was craving Pad Kee Mou for a few days so took the opportunity to go here. So I ordered me some veggie PKM and the tofu tod (fried tofu with peanut sauce). Though the noodles were spicy I've had better. The fried tofu was also disappointing - the peanut sauce was like peanut butter... More

Simple restaurant in famous a Laurel Street. We had hot and spicy papaya salad as starter, followed by red and green curry. Definitely a place to have good Thai food, if you accept smelling like a kitchen worker after the dinner.

Nice Thai restaurant on Laurel street, decor and service are not fussy, but the whole experience represents good value for money, with emphasis on taste and flavor. There is an early bird set-menu which gets you a soup/salad/appetizer/dish dinner set for 15$. Food was on the spicy side for me, although I am admittedly a wimp in this area. Spicy... More

The Siamese Kitchen is a little restaurant on Laurel Street - on the block just south of San Carlos Avenue. The service is friendly, and the food is first rate -- we like the curry and chicken dishes. Laurel Street has several upscale restaurants now, and small restaurants like the Siamese Kitchen allow San Carlos to keep its small town... More

Service is very good. Pumpkin curry, all the soups, and Phad Thais are excellent. Pure vegetable dishes are a bit disappointing. If I am in the area, I will go back. Have been going back there ever since it opened.

I love coming here for Thai food. I used to go to a place in downtown San Mateo but this is much more convenient. There's usually parking available in the parking lot directly across the street (which you enter by driving south on Laurel PAST the Siamese Kitchen), making a right turn on the first street, then a right turn...
