My Favorites here are the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Chicken & Broccoli, Chef Lee's Fried Rice, and the Wonton Soup! The service is always friendly and speedy.. and the atmosphere is very cozy.

Always delicious meals! Plus leftovers are great for snacking later. Enjoy your favorites, because they really do it right here. Very reasonable prices for large portions. Thank You!

Four members of our family ate lunch at Chef Lee's today. We had four different things from the lunch menu and we all agreed that the food was just average. The wonton soup was very thick with wontons and veggies, no skimping. Curry chicken had nice crisp veggies and almost no curry flavor. Service was good and portions large. The... More

This is about the best Chinese restaurant that I wouldn't mind driving quite a distance from home. For some reason, this restaurant serves the best combination chow mein. The noodles are soft and tender, topped with vegetables, shrimp and chicken. It's is absolutely delicious! My boyfriend has tried their egg foo young and that one is also tasty. It's served... More

A decent place for good Chinese food. The service is usually good. The restaurant can get noisy but it's family friendly (bring the kids). The food is served promptly, warm and well-seasoned. The servers are friendly and welcoming. Decent parking and large, spacious waiting area/lobby. Usually can get seated right away though.

Our family gather at chef Lee's in Salinas,Ca. for dinner after the high school graduation of my grandson. We made reservations, knowing how crowded Chef Lee's gets this time of the year. We were quickly greeted and seated with a big smile. Our tables were decorated and the seating was ample, not crowded together. We were a party of seventeen,... More

Their food is typical Americanized Chinese food that is served Family style to allow sharing. We had the Pork Fried Rice, Broccoli Beef and Shrimp Chow Mein. The food was average, nothing to shout about. The Broccoli Beef had the most flavor, the pork fried rice and Chow Mein was on the bland side. The hot tea that was served... More

Ate at Chef Lee's today for first time in many years. I thought it was the best Chinese food in the area back then and today's lunch reaffirmed that belief. The Broccoli Beef was savory with crisp veggies and there was quite a bit of shrimp in the Shrimp Chow Mein. Served family style there were plenty of left overs... More

Were regulars at chef Lee and highly recommend this place for a good lunch or dinner for the value. Staff is extremely helpful, the restaurant is clean and food awesome. Daisy and Gina are excellent attendants who get out of their way to make you feel at home. They receive you with a hot Jasmine tea and a courteous smile.... More

i had the Chicken with Crispy Rice entree. First things first; this was my initial taste of crispy rice and it was rockin good! The chicken was supported by mushrooms, snow peas, water chestnuts, and a sweet sauce that was mouth watering. The portion was big enough to fill up two hungry diners. Best of all was the price! This... More
