Can't imagine how this is the #10 rate restaurant in St. Helena. We were a party of 6 that all did a four course tasting. The timing could not have possibly have been any better. All four courses were execeptional in both flavor profiles and...More

The service was impeccable. The ambience was lovely. The wine was beautiful. But the food, oh, the food was sublime. If I could eat like this every night, I would. Four small plates, each one its own creative adventure. I loved every bite.

This is one of our favorite restaurants when we visit Napa Valley. The food is always consistent. The menu is so wonderful and deliciously prepared. Chef Sone is incredible! He is creative and is an expert at preparing delicate and light flavors.

On one end of the scale you have the spaghetti feed, mass quantity, unoriginal Italian restaurants like Buca Di Beppo on the other end of the scale you have the always amazing Biba's. Terra is up near the Biba's end of the scale. The setting...More

Excellent food and service. Romantic. Reservations a must. Charming stone building with only several tables. Chef is creative and exceptional. Strong Asian influence to his California inspired menu. Excellent wine list. Highly recommended.

At the last minute we learned that the menu was priced fixe for four courses-not what we wanted. But there was a steep charge for canceling our reservation. They told us we could sit in the bar and order from a bar menu, which we...More

As we arrived at the restaurant Chef stepped out of the restaurant and went along a small raised garden bed which hugs the beautiful stone building housing Terra. He was snipping from the plants. This foretold the fresh and innovative meal which lay ahead. The...More

Not really, but most folks in the restaurant were dressed nicely. No jackets on the men and nice jeans and shoes. Some women wore dresses but most were in pants and a nice top.
