This was my favorite restaurant on our trip. All of our dishes were excellent (Meatloaf, Pork Chop, & Sole). The plum sorbet was delicious.

Fun place! There were 6 people in our party and we had reservations for 6:15 on a Thursday night... make sure to get reservations as it is a busy place... we were greeted and shown to our table. Waitress was very nice and attentive. The cheddar biscuits were great to start with. We saw several people with excellent looking ribs.... More

Had dinner here with my wife. We both loved our meals and would highly recommend it. Centrally located in St Helena. Amazing farm to table menu. Also a great outdoor, heated patio area for an after dinner drink.

We had lunch here in the middle of wine tasting. Molly took care of us and was friendly, smiling, and helpful with the menu. I would definitely go back. Try the mini ham sandwiches with pepper jelly. The sole with black lentils was delightful. Save time to visit the shop where you can buy salts, olive oil, wine, and special... More

Besides these recommendations, Farmstead was additionally endorsed by a local and during a great tasting, so we had to make a point of getting there. Burrata and the meatballs were surprisingly delicious and you will want your wine pairings to continue.

Visited for dinner with another couple and this is the most over priced place in the Napa valley. My husband and I ordered the steak special and it was a bland small poorly cooked mess. You are paying for the so called "happy beef" aka the $70 bone in 14oz steak that was absolute garbage. When speaking to the waiter... More

Dear Amy S: Thank you for your feedback. We were disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy your dinner, and that certain aspects of your experience did not meet our normally high standards. We do raise our own grass-fed beef and lamb humanely, and utilize a “nose to tail” approach with our offerings. We are sorry to hear that... More

We were running from a winery to a class and needed to eat! We stopped and the restaurant was too busy. It looked good and smelled really good. Sorry we were not able to eat at the restaurant. We did find that the Café has panini sandwiches. These are premade sandwiches that they press in a panini grill and serve... More

Great happy hour experience with occasional live music and the best cheddar biscuits you'll ever have. The outdoor bar is lively, and a great place to meet up with friends. Fun outdoor concerts in the summer.

Started off with the pimento cheese deviled eggs. I would have never thought of that combination, but so glad we tried them. Not overpowering pimento flavor- just the right amount. You get both flavors perfectly. Two pickles and some pickled ginger is served with the eggs. And a great presentation. Simply delish ! Next we split the 12 hour slow... More

Description
Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant showcases the seasonal, ingredient-driven American farmhouse cooking of executive chef Stephen Barber. LMR Grass-fed Beef CheeseburgerHoused in a former nursery barn, our 110-seat restaurant revolves around a central open kitchen with booth and central seating, community dining, and a full bar. We feature an authentic farm-to-table menu. The ingredients are foraged from local sources and feature Long Meadow Ranch's all natural grass-fed beef and lamb, organic and sustainably produced eggs, fruits, vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and honey. Possessing a substantial background in Southern cooking styles, Stephen emphasizes a wood-burning element for select dishes. Stephen's kitchen is also outfitted with a plancha, a cast-iron grill ideal for searing Long Meadow Ranch's healthy, tender, and flavorful grass-fed beef and lamb. Community tables at Farmstead restaurantFarmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant wine program features Long Meadow Ranch Winery's elegant and balanced wines, as well as other domestic and international wines selected by Chris Hall to complement the restaurant's American farmhouse cooking. LMR and Farmstead wines are also available to purchase to-go at the Logan-Ives House cellar door. There is no corkage fee at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. Instead, a $5-per-bottle fee is collected as a donation to a featured local community-building not-for-profit organization each month. We call this program Corkage for Community. Outdoor bar at Farmstead restaurantOutdoors in season, guests can enjoy a meal among the espalier apple trees, drinks at the bar, or relax with friends and family by the cozy wood-fired authentic forge. Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM we offer a Growers' Happy Hour with specially-priced cocktails, beer, and wine and a special bar menu. We also offer Weekly Traditions featuring special friendly, casual menus on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nghts and on Sunday for brunch. Live entertainment on Fridays. The regular menu is available everyday. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Walk-ins are welcome
