We went to Willie's Burgers because we heard the Chili Burgers were as good as Tommy's in southern California. Well we have been going to Tommy's for 50 years so that probably makes us experts, and they are not the same. Willie's prices are at least 50% higher. While the chili is good, the rest of the burger is okay.... More

One of the few restaurants that wasn't overpriced in Old Town Sac. Good food, quick service, the fries are large enough to share. My friends chilicheeseburger was very good, had a good amount of chili, but not so much that most was on the table.

Best burger and fries in the area at a reasonable price. Everything is cooked to order within your view while you wait. Very small dining area and because of the location there are bums wandering around the dirty parking lot and outdoor seating. Get you burgers to go and it is all good.

maybe the worst food I have been served anywhere in the past 5 years. Ordered the double chili burger and garlic fried bout 11 bucks.Burger was inedible .Dry flavorless patties and the so called chili sauce was a liquid glop of almost pure salt. The garlic fried were average at best, huge portion but who would eat them all, they were... My daughter's 4th 5th 6th grade school was in the hood visiting the museum when we got hungry for dinner, so 19 children and four adults swarmed this small place for burgers and hot dogs. The staff held the horror in check when we arrived and got it done!! Terrific bunch of workers, uh well, two, and boy did they... More

This place is really amazing. I love their chili burgers! It's so much better than the paper thin burgers offered by In-N-Out. The burgers are twice as thick and taste like beef! You must also try the coleslaw. It is absolutely delicious! It is really their specialty.... If they had the money and know-how to become a franchise, they would... More

We stopped here because we were hungry. It looked like any local burger joint. It was 2 pm on a weekday and it was packed. We ordered a lettuce wrapped burger each. The double burger was grea, perfectly cooked and plenty of lettuce to hold the burger. The best part was the value. About $5. Unlimited iced tea and very... More

If you are from L.A. and miss your Tommy Burgers then you have found a new home. I had the craving for the Double patty with cheese and chili, big fat fried onion rings, and French fries... Satisfied my craving. Fair prices, small seating area inside, and some outside tables. Right off the 50 freeway at 16th Street and Broadway.... More

I can't understand why people are repeat customers here except they lack an alternative in the area. Everything here except onions, lettuce and tomatoes comes outr of the freezer and tastes like it. Fries are better than the cardboard at In-n-Out, but not much. Burger is tasteless except SALT. The onion rigs are beautiful until you take a bite. The... More

Willie's burgers have been great for years. Since the last time I was there, they have expanded their menu. I ordered the Slammer dcc. It is a double chilli cheese burger. It was so good. I order a bag of fries. A friend ordered a large chilli cheese fries. It was more then he could handle. He also ordered a... More
