Love this place! So charming, small and easily to walk to. Always get red curry with chicken. Yum!! Can't wait to go again.

Two of us had dinner Saturday and enjoyed the new Winter menu. I had lamb and my guest had yellow curry. We started with the BEST brussel sprouts with cauliflower. A rainy evening, their specialty teas were perfect. We will be back!

Never had it before and wasn't sure I would like it, but a friend recommended it to me and wow! Slightly spicy and and very tasty on a chilly Sunday afternoon. Drunken Noodles hit the spot!

While visiting family in Sacramento we opted for Thai for dinner. We were not disappointed with Thai Basil. Although not a fancy restaurant, the wait staff and service was good and the food delicious. Is there better out there, probably, but we had no complaints what so ever with this restaurant and would return again.

Eating outside in their special weekend-only, fairy-like garden area, complete with a water feature, was special. The service was very good and they accommodated my wishes for am substituting eggplant instead of potatoes in their yellow curry dish. So good! My friends had the summer salmon special and a spicy noodle dish with tofu. Wow! We loved the food and... More

Lunch here was sooooo good. The fresh rolls lived up to their name and my spicy papaya salad was delectable (and had lots of heat to it, just as I like). Good service and nice patio. Would absolutely go back again.

We ordered 3 items for a late lunch/early dinner: Tom Kha Gai-Soup (Thai coconut soup); Pad-Kee-Mow (Drunken noodles); and Pad-Prik-King (stir fry green beans, carrots in a spicy red curry). We found the soup to be a 'thiner' coconut broth and flavor compared to other restaurants, but still tasty; the drunken noodles were very nice; and the string beans were... More

My sister and I tried this out in May and I have been back with friends three times since. The selection is great. Service prompt once you get seated. The outside dining is nice but the "under the tent" side a bit dark. The tea selections are unique and worth trying - mine was a lovely blue and tasted exotic... More

Thai Basil has been in Sacramento for a while, still serves very good authentic Thai food. I love their "Larb" salad, with chicken. The menu offers seasonal dishes as well. Service is always very good.
