We were in town to catch the Californian Zephyer train to Chicago and this fine restaurant was only a few blocks walk from our hotel. the atmosphere is refined; the service quite good and the food excellent. Even the small plates of pasta were plenty for us.

Went for a little carb loading before a marathon. My cannelloni were amazing and I could have eaten more! Other than that everything was good but not excellent. Our flatbread tasted great but was a little soggy in the middle. Bread was average for any Italian restaurant (every once in a while a place has excellent bread, this wasn't it).... More

My daughter took her daughter and myself for dinner after seeing Toruk The First Flight. We had reservations so the wait was short. There is a bar area adjacent to the entrance check-in area which we did not utilize. I ordered linguine con polpettine which was excellent. I actually took a little of it home and I know I shouldn't... More

Our first visit to this restaurant, and we were impressed. Excellent veal dish that came with potatoes, but asked for pasta instead and they accommodated. The minestrone was really good, and the tiramisu was large enough for two and superb. The couple we met for dinner brought a bottle of wine, so I can't rate the wine list. Very large... More

We celebrated an event here from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. Parking is available and free validation. Parking is hard to find but use the garage and get your validation when you eat at a restaurant. The food, coffee, ambience were great (Pollo Al Marsala). Service was great and quick.

I've been there dozens of times. The food is good, if not necessarily amazing. (Paesano's in midtown has some great food, for example). But this is a very nice place for a fancy dinner date. White coated waiters, great service and the deserts are wonderful.

Recently we had another lunch here and unlike all the times we've eaten here with complete satisfaction over the years, this time was disappointing. Service was excellent, but the quality of the food was sub par. The pasta was way too hard and the chicken on top slightly raw. Had to stop eating it once I figured out why the... More

Dear WineEng, Thank you for telling me about your recent experience. I am glad to hear everything else is still pleasing to you about the restaurant, but I must apologize about the food on this occasion. It sounds as if they tried to rush this pasta out, as it may have been forgotten on the original order. Normally we do... More

An upscale chain Italian restaurant, I have attended many events here from reunions to birthdays; it is an event restaurant since it is a bit on the pricey side for many and it not a "drop in because I am starving" type of place... My recent visit was in celebration of my good friend's birthday; we had reservations and were... More

We were here as part of a wedding rehearsal dinner with a very large group. Nevertheless, the service was very good despite the logistics of taking a delivering about 30 dinners. This is a fine dining establishment. It's not exactly a place when you come for a beer and plate of spaghetti. I wasn't feeling tip-top so I didn't eat... More

The restaurant is in the Wells Fargo building where they have a Museum that includes a Wells Fargo carriage. The restaurant is large, attractive and has lots of nice tables, a patio and private rooms available. The food is reliably good, as are the cocktails! The service is always good too. It's a good go to restaurant for special events... More
