Just an average bbq place. Decent food and prices. Great service. Had a bbq stuffed baked potato which was ok. Bean side was good.

We eat here because it is close by but not anywhere near as tasty as Dickies or Daves BBQ. I would recommend Smokey Canyon for a soup or sandwhich but if you want mouth watering BBQ go somewhere else.

So, I was looking forward to mouth-watering BBQ. I googled local restaurants and decided to give Smokey Canyon a try. It was not bad ... but it was not memorable either. Went in for lunch recently - there were diners but there were many empty tables as well. It was still a little early in the day. The menu had... More

I dined here for lunch. I ordered a Hot Link Sandwich and soda. The sandwich was made from a large roll with half a hot link and a small cup of potato salad. The dish tasted fine but cost $9.95. The Soda was an extra $2.95. Way too expensive for what was offered.

OK I live in St. Louis Missouri and am blessed with great BBQ especially with two of the top places in the country (Bogarts and Pappys). Southern California is not a noted Q destination but Smokey Canyon does a great job of producing good stuff that could hold its own in the Midwest or South. Ask for your meat without... More

I ate here a couple of months ago and loved it, so there was no real decision to make to return. This time I forwent the sampler - it was massive last time - and just went for a mixed appetiser (entree). Wings, chicken tenders and smokey canyon fries. It was still a huge meal and was delicious. I also... More

This place was so GOOD! I had the pulled chicken sandwich and the bread pudding, and both were very delicious. The sandwich was stuffed full of moist chicken, and the bread pudding was just delicious goodness with each bite. We also brought my dog, and she had a great time sitting on the patio with us! The service was very... More

I was visiting Riverside from Australia and wanted to try a bbq place and everyone who we asked suggested Smokey Canyon. There were 3 of us and we all ordered the sampler plate - a choice of 3 meats, and 2 sides, with a corn muffin as well. I went for the St Louis ribs, the tri tip and the... More

We live very close to this restaurant and frequently visit; 1-2 times a week. Usually once for dinner and once for breakfast. I usually opt for their pulled chicken, tri-tip, cheesy potatoes and fries! However, their baked beans are good too! For breakfast we always get the french toast!! sooo good!! Smokey Canyon also has very good desserts. We have... More
