We have been here numerous times, last time steak was over cooked, told waitress and she said "sorry" didn't off to fix the mistake. Large menu, good food and service. Sat in patio on a nice sunny day with family. Had the Grilled Chicken Salad and had a variety of cucumbers, tomato, sliced egg, but made all of head lettuce, no other leafy greens. Brother had Skillet Steak and he said it was really good.
Perhaps I'm getting too old to comment, but for the many times I have eaten here as a local I have become indifferent. The food is not bad, but I would say the service and general atmosphere is not as inviting as it has been in other years. I'm just saying its a place to eat, but not dine.
Stop here while visiting relatives in the area. They have a very diverse menu with lots of yummy choices. Had dinner at Spunky Steer with friends the other night. We drove in from the desert and didn't think the experience was worth the drive. The steak was inexpensive, but a little tough and tasteless. very busy, loud place with no atmosphere. Won't return
