Chose this place based on TripAdvisor reviews. Interior reminded us of a restaurant at home that we used to go to - it's pretty dated. Service was good, food arrived quickly. Nothing super special about our dishes. Decent mexican food at a reasonable price. Chips and Salsa were tasty. We are pretty spoiled since our hometown has many Mexican food... More

Ageing restaurant, good staff, standard eats. Red Bluff is not really a diners paradise, but many establishments do a fair job.

Had dinner here one evening everyone enjoyed their meal and the drinks were huge. Prices were very reasonable and servings were more than generous.

We didn't plan on stopping here, but a mechanical breakdown had the wife sitting for a couple hours until I was able to get her. The staff was extremely accommodating in keeping her in drink and food until I arrived and had an excellent meal before we went home. I know it is a hassle and a revenue risk to... More

We were exhausted from a long day of driving and it was pouring rain. We were lucky to be close to Carlito's so decided to give it a try. The place is nicely decorated and the wait staff very quick and attentive. I had never seen lamb shank offered on a Mexican restaurant menu and could not resist giving it... More

Walked there and always had plenty of good Mexican food. A friendly staff, chips and salsa right away. Great margaritas, according to my husband. Good prices, usually ended up with a doggie bag, which is good, I'm sure my dog is Mexican!

I have been going to Carlitos for the past 5 years and have never been disappointed in the quality of their food or in the service provided by their staff.

This place used to be one of the best but try ordering a simple carnita dish and you'll regret it. Total waste of money...the only highlight is the bar. Drink enough and you'll eat the food!

Traveling with my husband. Hotel clerk sent us to La Corona restaurant but it was closed. We went instead to Carlitos and we're glad we did. Food was fresh and good. Margaritas had plenty of tequila. Service was good and friendly. I would return.

Friendly service, wide-ranging menu. On this last visit we had the chicken tortilla soup - - very good! Everything was very good except the sopaipillas - - they were on the thick and tough side, covered with cinnamon and had little relation to their NM cousins.
