Great tacos-just get there early, and must sit in bar area to get the happy hour prices. Somewhat noisy but fun. There is a fireplace in the Poway location.

We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Service was great. The raw oysters were delicate and consistently the perfect size. The swordfish was flavorful, light, but meaty; a nice sized portion. The hamburger looked delicious and was enjoyed by the non-seafood eater in our party.

Look them grilled for happy hour; order two and don't start cooking the second one until the first one is delivered! They are great tasting.

Ok, so The Brigg is very cool - best place in town to get a spinach salad, fish taco, fried artichoke fritters and a glass of wine - the perfect dinner for many of us! The staff is super friendly and on top of things - both in the dining room and the bar - which is where we always... More

We go to the Brig often since it's close to home. Typically we choose to sit in the bar & eat off the bar menu. They have such a great selection which is good for everyone & the kids menu is great! Some of the best fish tacos you'll ever have, the shrimp & crab fondue is sinfully delicious &... More

No matter which location, The Brigantine enjoys a very good reputation. When my friends need a seafood fix and the Brig is suggested, I go along and make do. Here's my question: WHY is such a popular, "In" restaurant so oblivious to those of us who do not eat seafood or meat? Is it too much to ask of them... More
