Do not pass through Pt Reyes Station without stopping at Bovine Bakery. Treat yourself to a muffin, scone, cookie or savory treat. You will want to have more than one and take a some home , too. Local spot. A few stools allow you to relax and read the paper or people watch.

The Sticky Buns were absolutely delicious! Not too sweet. Perfect balance. The coffee was very good too. If you are an espresso fan...they only do drip coffee here. The scones were tasty. As was the coffee cake, though not a traditional style coffee cake.

The products from this small bakery are so good that there should be a law against them. Thankfully, there is only so much that one can eat from the display case. We had a slice of pizza, savory scone, bacon croissant, raspberry marzipan tart, and oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. All of them were too good. Did I mention the coffee?... More

Well known and well regarded for its sticky buns (which are four star -- not quite as good as Downtown Bskery in Healdsburg) but the secret here is the deeply chocolate brownies. Wish the coffee was better.

We stopped here twice. We don't have a retail bakery in our small town so I guess we were really ready for some treats. And find them we did - yummy chocolate chip cookies, light pain au chocolat, moist blueberry scone, tangy cheese twist. (Okay, we went a little overboard, I admit). Please stop off here if you've got some... More

I just went in to get the Pain au Chocolat. It was busy but quick. The Pain did not disappoint. I couldn't eat the whole thing so I ate half the next morning, which I heated. OMG the chocolate was so great warmed up!!. Yum.... a treat for sure. As someone else mentioned- no calories on the road:-)

We always make this bakery the last stop out of town before we begin our long drive back home. We used to pick up our espresso drinks across the street at Toby's Feed Bin but went for drip coffee to accompany our pastries this time. We were very happy with the quality of the fair trade coffee they brew! Had... More

Hello fellow Sojourners - Oh, I know... that title sounds like a lot of bull, but it really isn't. (Gee, if you didn't know any better one might really think I'm trying to milk these bovine references.) (Okay, okay, keep it down folks, your groans, sighs and eye-rolling are distracting others who are trying to read this review.) Stopped in... More

This is a great bakery. The earlier you come, the more choices. The spot for bicyclists to stop, after coming up from San Francisco. Ok for you too, even if you took your automobile. The go-to spot for locals. Great pies, cookies, morning roll, bear's claw. Pizza slices available. Good coffee.

This place offers great brewed coffee and pastries- the buttermilk scones are delicious. It is a small popular place. Expect a short line and taking your purchase to go.
