This is serious meat. Its probably one of the top meat place in the country. Its a butcher shop. It all locally sourced, from beef, to lamb and goat. Cooked how you want it with a good glass of wine.

Rather utilitarian setting for dinner, and somewhat cold on a winter evening in spite of two ceiling heaters. Limited menu. Ground beef soup average. The problem is the New York steaks. Both last time we visited, last year, and this time, the New York Steak that I was served was filled with grizzle (not just the edge) that made many... More

Pros: The pasture raised beef is from local Point Reyes National Seashore. The $16 gruyere, red onion, and arugula bugger is good but not great. Nice bun though. A salad is an option rather than fries . Salad greens are fresh. Free Wi-Fi. Cons: My medium burger came well done. You don't want to overcook pasture raised beef or it... More

This sustainably-farmed dry aged beef with homemade bacon burger, complete with Parkside Bakery bun, was amazing. Homemade pickles, adorable atmosphere, great local products to buy...do NOT miss this stop along Highway One!

The old building has a restaurant portion against the front windows, allowing view of passing vehicles on Highway 1. Orders are taken at the counter. Service is quite slow. Food is quite good. My wife had a goat burger and I had a lamb burgers, both of which were excellent. Cost is high -- burgers are $18 each. We also... More

Whenever in West Marin, we come here for the great burgers, lamb or beef! Always deliciously juicy, finger-licking good.

I have not been here in many years but the food was amazing. The service was slow but it was worth the wait. I'm so glad I remembered how to get there. Two thumbs up.

My friend, my dog and I had lunch here for my birthday last year. I still remember it as a fun experience. Since I brought my dog, we sat outside at the rustic picnic table and they served us there. I had a delicious T-bone steak with fries. They are purveyors of fine organically raised beef in Marin, so the... More

Stopped here for lunch one day following a hike in Point Reyes and had great burgers. My husband had a beef burger and I had a goat burger. Both were cooked exactly how we wanted them and they were delicious. Service was friendly and helpful.

Taking a drive out to point Reyes to cowgirl creamery to pick up some cheese we tried Marin Sun Farms based on a local's recommendation. We had the barbecue pork ribs and fried chicken. Very tasty and service with a smile. We also picked up a chicken, thick cut pork chops and some bacon from the butcher counter that is... More
