Porto Alegre is a classic Brazilian churrascaria. They offer all of the well prepared classic cuts of beef, black beans, rice, other sides and an excellent selection of salads and vegetables. If I'm hungry enough when I'm in Pasadena, this is a go to spot.

My husband and I had our introduction to Brazilian BBQ at Porto Alegre in Pasadena. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. The food excellent. The salad bar was extensive and fresh. The décor was very nice and foods presented well. We were seated immediately. Porto Alegre validates your parking pass. We would love to come again for a nice... More

Sorry but cannot think of anything good to say, possibly it's cheap. Food was distinctly poor both in visual experience and taste.

Porto Alegre has an awesome happy hour. $5 wines, good food selection, comfy seating and great service. Highly recommended!

Went here for lunch on 2/13/16 with one of my girls. I have eaten here many times and have always had a good experience, but it was her first time having Brazilian Churrascaria. The food was excellent as always. We were seated right away, which is always a plus, and our server was very kind and attentive. He made sure... More

I've been here three times and each time I'm sure I've ruptured my stomach! The food is fantastic; from the cuts of beef to the chicken hearts, it's all very tasty. It is, however, relentless. There's a thing they put on your table that can be turned over if you'd like a break from eating but I always seem to... More

Very good ambience and service. Five stars for those 2 factors. Food was good but not great. The Buffett was way more pleasant than the meats, which is not a good sign. However, everything was still enjoyable, and this place is very much worth visiting if you are really starving. Buffett is around $40.

I had never eaten in a Brazilian restaurant of this type. There was a spectacular soup/salad/side bar then a server comes to your table with a never ending flow of different meat offerings ranging from sirloin to sausage to pork belly. You could tell him yes and he would cut you a slice/piece or pass it by for the next... More

Dinner was crowded, but we did not have reservations. The selections were above average for a Brazilian BBQ AYCE. The Salad Bar had fresh offerings of greens and soups.

Upon our arrival the establishment was not crowded, however we were sat right by the salad bar. We requested another table and was accommodated... At our new table no server greeted us and we were forced to seek out help regarding our server.. When the server finally came she was uneducated on the salad bar items and had to go... More
