We went there on the occasion of the exhibition of the Rembrandt etchings in the chateau in the same grounds. The setting is in a beautiful park opposite the American permanent mission and next door to the Palais des Nations. We sat inthe new serre which was constructed a few years ago. Our meal was selle de chevreuil. It was... More
From unstable weather to a sudden change, we were a group of 6 colleagues coming for a quick lunch. None of the tables were set outside, as it had been cold and grey all morning, but when we arrived, the sun sprung out, we wondered if it were possible to eat outside…. I've lived 33 years in Geneva, and used to come to this place when it was Le Cent Suisses. It was pleasant, and one ate well for a correct sum. Attended a conference as one of the Swiss artists uk , for the celebrations of the Swiss societies and clubs global. The restaurant is extremely good , serving breakfast lunch and drinks throughout the conference talks lectures and exhibition tour guides etc with the Rembrandt. Extremely nice food and wines presented for all the delegates attending the conference.
I liked the location of this restaurant near the Museum of Swiss abroad and located at the entrance of Domaine de Penthes-a majestic park. However, I was less impressed by the food, which did not match its pretentions. The service requires improvement.
Very nice restaurant with a great summer terrace at the entrance to a beautiful park overseeing lake Geneva. Reservation recommended especially at warm weather and lunch time
