Nice place for Korean food. Of course there are multiple options if you eat meat / fish. But they also have many options for vegetarians.

This was the first time I visited a Korean restaurant. The hotel was located close to our hotel we were staying during our business trip. We had a friend who was an expert of Koran cuisine, so he advised the dishes. Everything we tested was very good, the service was fast and the place was full, which definitely means that... More

Unexpectedly good food in a relatively busy whole-in-the-wall establishment. It was pretty crowded at about 1, and we waited for about 20 minutes for a seat. However, the food was great. Definitely worth the wait. All entrees come with about 6 small plates with a variety of food. There was kimchi, purple rice, sprouts, glass noodles, fresh cucumbers and potatoes.... More

I've been going to Tofu House for 10 years. The food is good and but the restaurant is dirty. They need to clean it better especially since they raised their prices on their dishes over the years.

Was first recommended this place by a pretentious, snobby foodie friend who happened to be Korean and turned up his nose at most places in the peninsula. Tofu House, according to him, was the only place worth eating at, apart from some Mongolian barbecue place that I disliked. So expectations were low when I first went here. Whoa! Terrific food,... It was my first time trying Korean tofu, and I enjoyed this restaurant a lot. The concept is soft tofu in a clay pot with choices of various meats or dumplings, or other add-ins. It gets served with a raw egg that's supposed to get cracked into the clay pot and cook before you eat it. Although the clay pot... More

I went here while my son went to Subway. Tried the tofu with veggies and ramen. It was good but I would like to go back and try a few more dishes.

This has been a family favourite for its vegetarian selection. Tonight the scales fell from our eyes. We were told the kimchi has shrimp and the miso soup with the order of "vegetarian bibimbap " has fish. Begs the question of what's in the broth in the rest. If you are not allergic or have serious ethical or religious reasons... More

We ordered the soft noodle tofu soup and the vegetarian bibimpap. I loved all the extra items they serve at the table - greens, sweet potato, glass noodles, kimchi and cucumbers were of the right portions and tasted great. I would definitely visit again when i am in the area.

I wanted to like this place. It's got a long line going. The car park is always full. And it's in the heart of multicultural Palo Alto. The food looks good, and the menu quite comprehensive. Sadly, except for the Kalbi (which was competent if not spectacular), all the food was very bland. The soups were salty and lacked spice.... More
