We've been back to Peking Duck restaurant many times, especially since it moved to its current location at 151 S California Ave. Walking distance from Old Palo Alto and the California Ave. neighborhood, close to the train station. We usually order one or more of the following (depending on how many of us are there) hot and sour chicken soup,... More

All I can say is that this place could have been much better. Maybe it used to be. The management seems running out of steam and they are just happy to have customers. The quality of the duck insults the name of the royal dish. The portion of the duck slices is pathetic that half duck plate is not enough... More

Tasty food, slightly jumbled service for banquet, somewhat noisy, but worth a visit. 4 levels of banquet, of which we had least expensive (around $200 for 8, plus 18% tip). Yes, we had Peking duck.

Peking Duck has some of the best Chinese food I've eaten and reasonable prices. I love the salt and pepper asparagus. Akin to tempura...deep fried in batter, but it's just small bites not one long stem. It is always crunchy, spicy and delicious. I could eat the full plate myself! Other highly recommended dishes include: Peking Duck (yum); Orange Chicken;... More

We decided at the last moment to drive to this restaurant and eat our lunch @ 12:30 PM. We were not disappointed and found it was quite nice for simple lunch. 1. Good Server 2. Great Food 3. Great Atmosphere

My family loves the Peking Duck at this Restaurant! So good. The place is akin to typical Chinese restaurants: decor and furniture, even the menu. It is clean, though. The food is delicious. Aside from the Peking duck, the other offerings in their menu are very good too. The salted fish and chicken fried rice is worth the try. Service... More

The place is good. Filled with groups of Chinese guests when we were there. The food is good but nothing extraordinary. The prices of items are reasonable.

First off, the food is superb. Second, the wait staff is excellent. Our family enjoyed one of the most delightful meals here. We had a variety off the menu and the waitperson was very helpful guiding us. We had the duck, shrimp and honey walnuts, and several appetizers. The wonton soup was excellent but so was everything else.

I've been coming here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Although it is known for the Peking Duck, the owner has traveled far and wide to enhance the variety of offerings. About 10 years ago, I was introduced to the Spicy Crab Restaurant in Hong Kong. This little restaurant served fresh steamed crab on a bed of... More

This is my neighborhood Chinese restaurant and I eat there very often for both lunch and dinner. The lunch menu is a bargain with soup, an onion pancake, and a main course. My favorites include chow fun with gravy, duck soup with noodles, and peking duck. There are always a lot of Chinese people eating here so it must be... More
