I had no expectations for this restaurant considering the location. It had lovely views. We lucked out, because we had a nice experience. Our waiter was very conscientious and so we had good service. We ordered the chicken club and veggie burger. Both were very...More

We visited Peaks on a weekday at 12:30. The place was not crowed and we were seated immediately. Our waitress (Lu) was pleasant and very attentive to our needs. I ordered the Mandarin Salad. It had watercress greens with stems, which I found annoying. Impossible...More

We usually avoid tourist spots or restaurants with a view because the food is usually overpriced and sub-par. Unfortunately, despite the good reviews, we found this to be the case at Peak. The restaurant overlooks the valley although there were clouds that evening so there...More

Skip the restaurant , bring your own snacks is my recommendation. Our appetizer arrived at the same time as our meal - 42 minutes after we were seated. The flat bread was cold- and when we asked should this be cold - reply was 'no'...More

Our experience at the Peaks restaurant was very positive. Food was fine and service was good. I see other reviews that are less positive, but we had no issues

2 of us got pork chops, 1 got the meatloaf, 1 got the brick chicken and all were very good, treat yourself to a nice experience at this place, service was great too.

We made a reservation well in advance, but were still seated next to the door (which people continued to use). When we complained they moved us to a table set up next to the busy entrance to the kitchen. Of course they had run out...More

This is truly an experience! The view from Mt. San Jacinto down into the Coachella Valley and Palm Springs is beautiful, and amazing at night. Be sure to take the tram up to the restaurant with plenty of time (at least a couple of hours)...More

Expensive, terrible service and attitude from the host. The food was dreadful. Overcooked burgers, stone cold fries, soup that had mounds of salt in it. Slow service even though it wasn't busy..no excuse for this. The view is fabulous though.

Definitely an amazing view. Got up in time for the sunset. Waited quite some time for someone to take our order even though the place was not very busy. Finally got our order placed and again waited a long while for everything to show up....More

I think you would want to see the sunset from the balcony on the back side, but probably not the best view, you are on the peak looking down into the valley but the sun sets on the back side of that mountain.

Yes the tram is the only way there. The restaurant is in the same building as the tram 'station' when you get to the top.

I don't believe their is a dress code at lunch. We were there in tshirts, shorts and running shoes. Not sure about the dinner service but I suspect it is the same.
