Had a great meal with friends on Riccio's patio while people watching. We had the fixed price meal or Sunset Special and it was wonderful. We had the fish and the lasagna which came with soup or salad with warm bread and the main course as well as dessert a fantastic tiramsu with coffee. I nice quiet relaxing evening in... More

At the northern end of Palm Canyon Drive, many people might overlook Riccio's Steak and Seafood eatery, but they'd be wrong because it's a great place to dine. The prix fixe menu is especially good, as is the prompt and efficient service. I had a filet mignon, with a salad and dessert, for a reasonable price. If you can get... More

We took an evening stroll in search of somewhere to have dinner and upon approaching Riccio's, we thought it was closed because it was so quiet and lifeless. It ended up being open and very quiet which was nice. I just mentioned the above comment because if you're looking for a lively upbeat place, I don't think this is where... More

We had calamari appetizers and it was the best we ever had. Then the overcooked tasteless lamb came with a sweet and sour sauce. The other three had steak. Two overcooked. One ate hers anyway. My wife sent hers back and it took over a half an hour to bring out a raw steak. The steak was tough and was... More

We hadn't been to Riccio's for a couple of years and tried it again. I think it is an establishment in its final throes before expiring. It's high season in Palm Springs and there were two diners in the restaurant when we arrived at 6:30 pm, usually the most reserved time in the city, and 14 diners when we left... More

We stopped by chance a Riccio's without reservations and they were able to seat us for dinner immediately. The service was good and friendly but I did not find the food to be anything special. They served very stale bread to us which did not set a very good tone. They have a nice menu and we will try it... More

We ate at Riccio's for the first time and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was quiet and elegant. The service was especially good. We had the filet mignon with truffle sauce The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce was rich and delicious. The carrots were excellent.

We quite liked Riccio's. As overseas visitors staying just 2 days in Palm Springs we chose at random a restaurant for New Year's Eve. Without internet access on the road I couldn't do my usual pre-reservation review research. We just stopped outside a couple of restaurants and checked out the menus, ambience etc. The prix fixe menu for Riccio's seemed... More

Went to Ricco's for seafood, but decided on the Cowboy steak after hearing recommendations. My husband had the fish of the day (an unknown out of the Catalina Islands). Not bad. My Cowboy steak (bone-in ribeye) was cooked medium rare. Charred with a garlic flavor so the choice of toppings is not really needed. Very good. I got the peppercorn... More

At first glance, this place looked more like a sidewalk café than a great Italian Restaurant. Authentic dishes and a great menu provided us several great options including a few Gluten free options. Sadly we learned that they no longer offer GF spaghetti, but the regular Spaghetti and meatballs were very good as were the lamb chops. Service was excellent..... More
