In town for a conference we had a group of six and everyone left happy and full. The vibe is good. The inside and outside blend together well. Service was okay - not exceptional. The sommelier was great. She suggested something not yet on the list that was perfect. The calamari was some of the best I've had. The sushi... More

Great food all around. Terrific sushi offerings. Creative and very tasty. The outdoor patio location is without parallel in the desert. Mitch knows how to operate a wonderful restaurant.

We had dinner reservations but came in during a wet afternoon to get drinks which were fine but the place has weird lack of atmosphere so decided to cancel dinner reservations and eat elsewhere

We had a Sunday night surprise birthday party for a friend of ours and a total of 14 guests. It was very nice to have the upstairs dining area to ourselves. We started with some sushi appetizers and Ahi Tuna tacos. Beyond that, everyone ordered for his or herself. My wife had the seared Ahi Tuna which was served rare.... More

We went on a Monday night which makes me nervous at a restaurant that specializes in seafood. I tell you this... all was good! Food, service and wine were all excellent... A michelin star? no... But I think you will enjoy a very nice meal.

Great place to eat with foodies. The Shrimp/scallops combo is one that I will try to recreate on my grill. My Sea Bass was spectacular, big, think, flaky, moist and very tasty. We should have saved room for desert, but the apps and entrees are so good we should have shared. Then have the sweets.

New Years dinner and service were exceptional with festive decorations and live entertainment. Ahi tuna was cooked to perfection and the portion was large enough to have leftovers for lunch. The short ribs had a Hawaiian fusion flare and were excellent

Had an amazing night at Mitch's with 20 of our family & closest friends. I worked w/Melissa who was very professional & accommodating with the party; our table setup, cake, decorations, etc. The food was outstanding (as usual) and so was the service. This is not your usual "nice restaurant on El Paseo"...it's much more! Mitch & his staff truly... More

My husband and I ate at Mitch's for the first time last night and loved every minute of it. The menu was extensive and there were so many dishes that we both wanted to try. The wine list was fantastic. We ordered the yellowtail sashimi (perfect amount of spice), the crispy rice (amazing), the chilean sea bass, and the rack... More

A group of us went for happy hour and had fabulous food, service and drinks. If you sit on the patio the atmosphere is wonderful. I am not a Sushi but some of the group ordered some and said it was fabulous.
