Southeast Asian food - Vietnamese and Thai. Friendly service and delicious pad Thai and scallops and asparagus.

Good friendly service, love the decor, really great food. I would like to recommend you heat your plates for hot main course dishes.

Delicious, excellent service. One of our favorite places in Palm Desert! Service is friendly but can be slow to refill water. Will definitely go back next time I'm in PD.

We enjoyed our dinner here very much. Seems popular with locals. Food was somewhat different than standard restaurant selections. We really enjoyed the Banh Xio, which the owner had to instruct us in how to eat it! Fun experience. Friendly staff.

Had been here a couple of times 2 years and was happy with both visits. This time I was not. The food and service were a letdown down from last time. Had pad Thai and the noodles were mushy. To say the service was bad would be a compliment. Based on this last visit, I could not recommended.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, while this restaurant was very good, our curry was a little thin. The Thai ice tea and Pad Thai were excellent. Service was good also, I recommend making a reservation as the seating is limited.

Le Basil offers a solid varied Thai menu. All items are delicious. Lunch menu is a great value. Service is always outstanding. Try Thai ice tea if you haven't had it before. It pairs wonderfully with the Thai food and offsets the heat of spicy dishes. Staff and owner, Tom, are most accommodating and helpful.

We ate here for dinner on a Thursday evening without a reservation. When we entered, there were a few parties in front of us but no staff came to welcome us or give us an estimated wait time. We understood that we were there during dinner rush without a reservation, but no acknowledgement made us a little put out. When... More

Excellent thai food with friendly staff. They know what they are doing in terms of drinks, wine and food. The ambiente is very nice as well. Also native thai people eat there.
