A small place but the food is great. We have been in the area a little over 1 week and ate there twice. The 1st time I had oysters and they were so flavorful. Best I have ever ate! The fries are also good and even when they cool down are not greasy. We will be here another 3 days... More

Arguably the best fish and chips in town. Family run, always made to order. Small , clean, well appointed restaurant with friendly staff. Imported beers from the U.K. There are other seafood items alsdo available, but the Pollock used for fish is my favorite.

Get the Camelot, it has fish, shrimp, scallops and oysters plus the chips. Good selection of beers and ales too. It'll fill you up for not too much and when you're stuffed, take a walk along Esplanade Avenue to see and listen to the waves come crashing in. Circle back around the mall and then go inside the second hand... More

When my wife and I have a craving for fish & chips, we go to Camelot's. Since we are locals, we go to this restaurant at least once every two months.

Since we moved to the states we have craved Fish and Chips, we have now found the perfect place. Camelot's has managed to nearly replicate the great British Fish and Chips even down to wrapping them in newspaper. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is they were a bit cold and one of my bits of fish... More

Second visit, on a Friday night, between 6 and 7; lines form for orders to go, all tables in this tiny place were filled, so we filed and found that a table was freeing up for us. So we ordered and went to the table. The beer took 20 mins, the food took 35 mins (just before passing out). It... More

Been coming here for years and loved it. I read that it may be under new mngmt and not so good. Went there last Friday afternoon. ..delicious. lightly battered, crisp fish and tons of fresh tasting "steak fries". just like I remembered

This has been a favorite for years, but it has changed hands and is absolutely terrible now. Poor service, bad, old, grease tasting pollock.....not cod, not halibut, nothing fresh, all frozen....scallops were the size of a large pea.....never again.

Husband and I wanted fish and chips so decided to try Camelot. What a let down. First of all the restaurant looks dirty. We should have known better. The fish was greasy. As were the fries. We also had the fried prawns. Again greasy. We tried to use the malt vinegar to help the taste but did not help. We... More

This is one of those "locals favorites" places that will not disappoint if you like fish and chips. A tiny place that is easy to park across the street from and the food is fresh and real and delicious.
