Very nice cafe, over-priced, $40 for breakfast. This area has a dearth of authentic, local, well-priced restaurants. Not sure why.

Our hotel recommended this breakfast cafe. We are glad that they did. It was easy to find and had a cozy atmosphere with good food.

We thoroughly enjoyed lunch here today. Not fancy but good service for breakfast and lunch items - only open until 3:00pm. We loved a turkey Reuben and a grilled eggplant sandwich.

This is a quaint home cooking type restaurant. The menu has lots of variety - specialty is breakfast. They have multiple types of eggs Benedict. The crab Benedict was tremendous. They have choices of coffee. The staff are very peasant and service was excellent t.

Toasties provided ample breakfast and lunch for us for 2 days while in Pacific Grove. Opened at 6 am (town is a little sleepy for early risers) and menu selection, food choices and preparation and finally the meals were excellent.

Love eating here when we're in the area. Good breakfast and lunch selections. Love the California scramble.

We visited Toasties for breakfast on our last day on the peninsula before heading home. Toasties was a place we visited often when we lived on the peninsula almost 20 years ago and remember many days the line going out the door with those waiting for a table. We were there very early on a Sunday morning so there was... More

I have lived in Monterey for 21 years and have never received worse service. The server was nice and tried to accommodate my diet restrictions. The owner wasn't having it at all. In a country where the 50% of the adult population is diabetic, I really don't understand. I recommend you go to the amazing red house which is practically... More

Every time we come to the Monterey Peninsula to visit family, one morning is always reserved for Toasties and their Huevos Rancheros. The owners and staff know most of their clients and greet all of them like family. Other members of my family prefer other delights on their breakfast menu, but I wouldn't trade their Mexican delight for anything.

Stopped at Toasted with friends who have eaten here before. We were able to sit outside and service was very good and food outstanding. I has the burritos with sausage and it came with potatoes. Very tasty.
