My grandson and I make a regular habit (about weekly) of having dim sum at King Lobster Palace. We are always pleased with the selection and quality of the offerings, including some that we've not had elsewhere such the deep fried seaweed wrapped shrimp. The wait staff treats like family and is readily available to meet our every request. I... More

We have been here several times now. Nice decor. Service is typical for an Asian Restaurant. The food is a little more starchy and slimy than I would like but it is because the cuisine is provincial. I like more of the spicier cuisine like Hunan or Schezwan. They also have dim sum on the weekend which is always pretty... More

I took my Mother here last light based on the reviews. Service was VERY POOR, which I expected based on the comments I read, but OMG I had no idea how poor! I ordered the Dim Sum Assorted appetizer, was awesome, my Mother ordered an Ice Tea and I a Coke. She got a glass with Ice, and Tea. I... More

I never think of fine dining and Chinese in the same sentence, but this is truly the place to enjoy both. I have their excellent dim sum, but a dinner of family plates is a real treat and a wonderful evening.

4 stars for the dim sum, the decor, the service, and the value. Our table of 8 was seated close to the kitchen, so the food was hot, and the service fast. 4.5 stars average for all the dim sum, notable was the steamed bao, 5 stars, which had a light thin outside bun and ample delicious filling. OTOH, the... More

Usually, I have great dim sum in Rowland Heights or Huntington Beach area. I forgot that a decent dim sum restaurant is close to home. I have eaten dim sum here years ago. I enjoy the food then as well as now. Parking places were available in the front on this Friday during lunch time. However, there were also many... More

For some reason hubby was craving for dimsum. I vowed not to come back here but either that or drive all the way to Bolsa. So decided to give in and give this place a second chance. I don't know what happened but the gals pushing the dimsum carts were actually nice! Not only that, the food was actually very... More

The dim sum here beats anyplace in Orange County. My mother's favorite is the baked buns with pork. Most placed only have Char Siu Bao. Not baked. The breading is slightly sweet. The have the best shiu mai I have ever eaten. So delicious. Their seaweed wrapped shrimp is devine. Love their dim sum.

I've been to this restaurant three times now and they consistently make authentic, good tasting Chinese food. If you are looking for Dim Sum, go for lunch. If you are new to Dim Sum start with the shrimp dumplings. If you are looking for something more exotic, go with the chicken feet or tripe. If you don't know what you... More

Finding a good Dim Sum restaurant is not easy in the central Orange County area, and so I highly recommend the King Lobster. The food is always hot, flavorful, and the parking is easy. We consider this one of our favorite places. When we had lunch there on Saturday, we saw a couple being seated who said to the waitress,... More
