I had the burger, another guest had the tacos and the third guest had the barbecue pulled pork. Not a thing remarkable about lunch. Not good and not bad. I would check out the other places in town.

We had a really good burger, fries and beer meal here with a great selection of craft beers and a "locals" atmosphere.

OK, the food is also very good. But, the main attraction is 11 beers on draft, plus a ton in bottles. Chicken curry sandwich is highly recommended, along with the Chimay chicken salad!

I don't drink beer so I was delighted to see that there was a good choice of wines, all locally grown. YES!! Visit the taproom/ saloon for memorabilia and beerhandles from little known breweries.. there are hours of entertainment there. Delicious food and great service. Put this on your itinerary. Oh, and remember to come into town via the mountains..... More

When it comes to Beer and Burger, this is the right place. Always serving up micro brew, craft beer, and my favorite, Guinness, every time I go, I am trying something new. It's what keeps me coming back. My favorite burger is always the burger special. I never know what its going to be each time I go, however, when... More

Nice meal, and we liked the house wine selections. I need to say more than this, because Tripadvisor insists that I write at least 100 characters.

Barley and Hops came recommend by our guides at Sonoma Canopy Tours. When we walked in there was a sign that said please wait to be seated so we waited but there was no one around to notice us or seat us, so I started to wander around when someone came out to seat us. They were out of the... More

I liked my food but my friend didn't. There was a bar fight in the other room when we were there, which caused a window to break and the police to be called. The cook left my hamburger on the grill (my friends hamburger sat on a plate waiting to be served) to go wrestle the shirtless drunk guy out... More

This was the first place we stopped for a meal in Occidental. I was excited to order a french dip sandwich. The experience started out "weird" and just went downhill after that. The waitress had an odd vibe and was not too friendly. She even acted personally offended later when I asked where the goat cheese was that was supposed... More

Local, and always from-scratch, our pub grub is the best in the area. Everything is below 15 dollars, and hand-made; from pub classics to eclectic favorites. We focus on cooking with craft beer, and serve 13 drafts, and 60+ bottles from local and worldwide craft breweries. A small selection of local wines by-the-glass and hand-crafted local ciders are also available. Live music on the weekends!
