I've gone twice now. Had the chicken and waffles the first time. They were wonderful! Especially the waffles. There was a 20 minute wait for one because it was a Sunday, but you can get coffee while you wait, which was nice (the coffee is very acidic, which isn't bad if you're into it, but be warned). The service was... More

We had the waffles and fried chicken! Wonderful. Coffee was great. Came on a rainy Saturday so the wait was short.

I had been wanting to go to Brown Sugar Kitchen for several years. It is only open for breakfast and lunch, and we just prefer eating breakfast at home. Finding a day on which my wife and I could go there for lunch had been a hang up. We finally made it a few days ago, and we now both... More

This busy out of the way restaurant is worth the wait. The waffles are to die for--quite different from the usual fare, light crispy corn waffles with a bit of tang. A plus for early risers, they open at 7. Everything that I have had was delish. Biscuits, beignets, yummy

Came here on Sunday and thankfully didn't have to wait too long for a seat. My group had planned to order coffee and a pastry while waiting since we called before and was given a 45 minute estimate wait time. We were sat before our pastries were given to us which was great since we were starving. We all ordered... More

I'm partial to this place but it is by far the best breakfast around. Friend chicken and Waffle and the Smoked Ham Hash are my favorites. The coffee is good so grab some while you wait the hour to get a table. It could be longer. Get there early.

We frequent this restaurant for brunch monthly at least. The food is superb. Two of my favorites are the pork hash & poached eggs and the chicken & waffles. There is a bit of a wait most Saturday's but for me the food is worth the wait.

My first time to this restaurant, and I must say I give them a 4 out of ten. I waited 2 hours to be seated, then I ordered the gumbo and it tasted more like stew, wasn't good. The fried chicken was ok but too greasy, the Mac and cheese was devine. FYI Please watch where u park your car.... More

This was such a lovely place with great food! We came on a weekday so, no long lines and we were seated right away. For a first timer, best to order what is the best on their menu: butter milk fried chicken & cornmeal waffle with brown sugar butter and apple cider syrup! The waffle was so different. It was...
