We chose self service bar seating and as soon as a table opened up we went to sit down and grab it. A waitress that seemed a bit flustered asked us to leave the table so that she could clear it but that she would make sure that we still had the table. My friend and I got up, my... More

Mediocre food that is WAY overpriced coupled with cold and rude service. Save your money and eat elsewhere. Do not be fooled by the grandiose titles on the menu.

When I first looked at the menu, I was not that excited about it. But the creative dishes were fabulous. The sizes are not small, but not overly big. A salad and main dish was perfect. I loved the chicory salad and tasted the citrus and humus salad. Both were great. My main dish of fine mushrooms and grits was... More

Small menu but delicious food. I had mushrooms and crab . They were both very good. I did not try any of the dessert menu but I am sure they are all very good! It has a very casual atmosphere. We sat at a very large commune table. That part is OK but I personally would have preferred a private... More

The environment in the restaurant is really nice and the food is good and quite different from your average tastes. Nice selection of wines, and even though the food choices are not too many, they are enough to cover your preferences. They offer a nice dining experience, with interesting ingredient combinations from starters to desserts. We do recommend it, but... More

Love wood fired cooking and cuisine! Camino has a wood grate piled with chunks of wood disintegrating into red hot embers which give the dishes their very special flavor! Had multiple flatbreads, roasted oysters with absinthe, Dungeness crabs with vegetables, artichokes and humus, glasses of white Côte du Rhone. The only down side is the limited menu and lack of... Glad we went to Camino! The menu isn't large and overwhelming. Looks as if it changes daily based on stuff sourced locally daily. Started with oysters and crab and ended with trout and pork belly. Rarely have had food better cooked. The Syrah recommended with the food was excellent. Orange Tart and the Chocolate dessert rounded off the evening. The bill... More

I have eaten at Camino many times over the years including some special events (Ottolenghi dinner, Mallmann dinner) and a New Years dinner. The food has always exhibited incredible finesse. For a good description of Camino see Mark Bittman's New York Times article from March 28, 2014 "Not Enough Cooks in the Kitchen." What he wrote still applies. The title... More

We ate here as part of a large family group dinner party. I found the menu, the prices, the value, and the attitude of the servers to be more than just a bit on the pretentious side. I guess the basic theme here is that everything (including the vodka) is locally sourced and the menu changes daily to reflect the... More

Touting a Chez Panisse chef, fine dining, lovely ambiance and great service, it had none of these. I read some of the other reviews after we had dinner there and I agree. The portions were laughable. The waitstaff was rude, not accommodating, and because gratuity is included, they felt entitled. It was way overpriced. We had made reservations days ahead,... More
