Walked in to unbelievably wonderful smells. The 2 item combo lunch was great. Ribs and chicken plus 2 sides really good
Funny place. Old guy behind the counter is a "typical" old guy like me. We are crabby, have smart remarks, roll our eyes and have no patience. However, the food is really good. Like all bar-b-q's it isn't cheap but dang us old peeps need...More
I stopped at this small and old school restaurant on Trip Advisor's recommendation. The service was friendly and fast, the place has a great vibe to it, family run and been around for awhile. The BBQ was good but not exceptional. I tasted no smokey...More
Don't let the neighborhood or small size of the restaurant detour you. Pit Stop is one of the best BBQ places I have found in the Sacramento area. One of my regular stops when I'm in town.
It's good bbq. It's not going to leave lasting impressions in your mind, but it gets the job done and has some good lunch deals.
We all had something different and everything was was good. There was just enough to fill you up. The kids ate everything on their plate and no one was unhappy, which is good when you have 15 people together eating takeout.
If you love down home cooked pork ribs this is the place for you. It is just a little place tucked just off of Watt Avenue, but the food is great!
I love finding these small BBQ places when I travel. In my experience, they always serve the best BBQ and have great atmosphere. Pit Stop BBQ is no exception. The restaurant is decorated like someone's grandparent's basement with wood panel walls, and vintage radios on...More
My family likes to pick it up and eat it at home. It is well priced for what you get. There is years of tradition in that BBQ. Go hungry.
