This place is located on the Balboa Island peninsula right off of the main road. We were there for a Sunday stroll and found ourselves in front of this place around lunch time. The food was very good and with generous portions for it being a lunch menu and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was nice, friendly and... More

We have enjoyed this restaurant for years, but 2 years ago new owners took over. To their credit they renovated it. However, we had come to expect things like crispy noodles and tea upon arrival as a traditional welcome. Now you have to ask for everything and it costs extra. The restaurant isn't cheap, so it isn't like they can't... More

This is my daughter's favorite place to go for Chinese food. We had veggie Mushu, veggie Lo Mein, Garlic Green Beans, Spring Rolls, and Sizzling Rice Soup. All the vegetables were fresh and cooked crispy, just perfect!

Location is convenient, food is average and service is ok. But if you are craving Chinese food and don't want to leave the Island....here is where you go.

We went as a family of 8 for lunch and had a great experience. We ordered several different dishes and everyone liked theirs a lot. The lunch deals are especially good as they come with a soup and rice, so it's a bit more filling at a great price.

Convenient location on Balboa Island, CA. Right in the heart of the shopping area. The cream cheese wontons were delicious. The Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Almond Chicken dinners were really tasty. The portions were not too large, but were filling.

We had a weekday lunch here. We were seated immediately and our lunch order taken promptly. Three meals came at the same time and one came 10 minutes later. The food was great and the servings generous. Once the meals were brought we never saw the server except when we got the check. No drink refills were offered. I would... More

Since under new ownership for about a year now, we were really impressed with the food, service and new decor. From sizzling rice soup to egg foo young, spicy eggplant, chow fun, and garlic beef- every dish was cooked perfectly and tasty! We consider this place our new go-to restaurant for Chinese food. We would recommend.
